UK has made no progress in reducing the number of new cases for a whole month.

Unlike most other nations who see a peak, followed by a decline in new cases, the UK has made no progress. That's the result of having an idiot in charge, ignoring the pandemic for months and a lack of testing (sounds familiar?). Now the UK is reopening and people are expected to go back to work.

Both 45 and Boris don't care about peoples lives. Both only care about the 1% and everyone else is just cannon fodder.

3. Probably due to the incomplete testing earlier

The daily death count has been gradually decreasing since its peak in early April (for the 7 day moving average, around April 12th - was 942 then, now 568).

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/

Tests went up from the completely inadequate 12,000 or so per day at the start of April to about 80,000 now. Detected case have gone up in that time from about 4,200 to 5,100. They weren't finding a lot of the cases then; now they're detecting them. The deaths have been more obvious, since the more severe cases are usually sent into hospital where they were tested, so that figure has been more accurate.

4. That's nice. Let's hear it for expanded testing.

Even nicer, let's check out https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/ and it's ever-so-wonderful 7-day average and notice that for the last month the UK's had a declining death toll.

Now, it may be an incomplete total, but unless they're altered how they measure deaths, even if it's only catching 10% of them as long as it's a consistent percentage it shows the actual trend.

And that trend isn't the catastrophe-porn "they don't have a grip on it" but "they haven't just flattened the curve, they're depressing it."

they are supposedly doing the 6 foot distancing, but no one is required to wear a mask.

interesting methinks

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/apr/24/face-masks-mandatory-spread-coronavirus-government

Three months on, even as more than 30 countries, including Germany, have mandated face coverings outdoors for the public, the UK government has been adamant that there’s not enough evidence to support such a move here.
