I don't know, but I hope I get to witness it. For me, It would be glorious celebration watching them become completely lost. What do we do now?
I imagine they would turn into a herd, like in the walking dead. They would just wander around aimlessly, mindlessly.

(9,670 posts)One day, I want to see Trump rot in prison for his numerous crimes. The next, I want karma to strike him like a cobra and give him a nice dose of the coronavirus.
In either case: justice served.

They're much more comfortable going deeper into the rabid [ ] rabbit hole than backing out of it.

(32,078 posts)And, then rioting over them, and attempting to assault an/or kill anyone they believe responsible for it. No doubt all those conspiracies will involve Trump being murdered by "the Deep State", liberals, the Dems, George Soros, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, NATO, or one or more of their other boogeymen.

(12,712 posts)They would be churning out conspiracy theories to fit around it in a way that confirms their biases, of course. It would be Conspiracy Fest 2020,
Stuff like that:
He's not dead, he faced it to join a secret force in the final battle of the deep state.
Nancy Pelosi mixed some COVID-19 in his covfefe so democrats could win.
I don't even want to go into the behaviors and mayhem that would ensue. They won't take it well, especially now that they sit around more and obsess about their delusions.

(14,854 posts)They would insist that he was assassinated by the "deep state" to prevent him from saving the country from ruin. They would be very, very angry. Right wing radio and their internet sites would whip them into a frenzy. We might see some of them go on terroristic rampages, killing Democrats, minorities, non-Christians, media figures and employees, and generally everyone they don't like. I don't think there would be all that many of those, but I'm pretty sure there would be some.
I also suspect a fair number of them would expect him to rise on the third day. When that doesn't happen, they would find some other way to imagine that he's a divine figure and they would worship him. A new variation of Christianity would form (it pretty much already has) with him as something like a modern savior, not quite equal to Jesus but close. In the future there would be reported sightings of him, kind of like happens now with the Virgin Mary. Miracles would be associated with him.
Those are my predictions.

They'll keep trying until they can worship the TRUE anti-Christ.
Lol, not that I believe the religious stuff... only their insane devotion to myths that make them feel good, and their years of mental gymnastics and gullibility to hold onto them.

I'd call it a hoax, and him a crisis actor who did it in order to evade accountability for his Covid failures.
