Black Conservatives

To me, it seems like being a Black conservative has become a lucrative business opportunity for some....Diamond and Silk, Jason Whitlock, Candace Owens. Jesse lee Peterson, etc...it’s a way to make money to be against the grain and show up on FoxNews or other conservative outlets....it’s funny that these same black conservatives say Black people talk about race too much, but they are always trotted out to talk about race.....And their takes on the Auhmad Aubrey shooting is disgusting....

He is far more racist than any of those four. Even today he was polling about 8% of the black vote, which is about twice as much as they got.

plus black male misogyny against Hillary, same for Latinx men (32% voted for Trump)

His A-A vote uptick was completely driven by black men (13% voted for Rump), NOT us black women (4% for Rump).

Donald Trump’s fall from hip-hop grace: From rap icon to public enemy No. 1

Donald Trump had been hailed in hip-hop lyrics for decades. No longer.

Trump was an indisputable icon in hip-hop music for decades, and the admiration for his success and swagger is documented in more than 300 rap verses. Lyrics examined by ABC News show Trump was hailed for his wealth and power and idolized in songs that date back to at least the late 1980s.

"He was an American icon that stood for success and wealth, and that was something that was valued, particularly among a community of folks that were coming from lower class backgrounds and people who were locked out of the mainstream American economy," Bakari Kitwana, the Executive Director of Rap Sessions, told ABC News.

P. Diddy joins rapper fans of Trump

https://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/255777-p-diddy-joins-rapper-fans-of-trump

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s list of friends who are famous rappers is growing: P. Diddy is the latest to count himself among them.

“Donald Trump is a friend of mine, and he works very hard,” the “Last Night” rapper and record label founder says in an interview published Friday in The Washington Post.

But Diddy (who was born Sean Combs) says Trump is just one good example of a high-profile businessman.
“Donald Trump is not the only person who is a model mogul. That doesn’t need to be, like, the only picture of what an American mogul looks like.”

Diddy isn’t the only entertainer Trump has in his friend zone. The former reality TV personality told “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon in an interview last month that he and Kanye West are practically buddies. “Kanye has been so nice to me,” Trump said of West, who announced last month that he intended to make a White House in 2020.

"Among the most unjust consequences of Sanders's branding Clinton as an establishment tool was the effect on young African Americans. Their parents -- particularly their mothers -- were virtually solid in their support for Clinton, and that wasn't the result of her racial 'pandering' (as Trump later suggested) but rather Hillary's quiet, steady work, over decades, on issues of 'kitchen-table' importance to black families and the relationships she had built with black leaders. That history was either unknown to or ignored by many Sanders supporters; Clinton 'has to be willing to get out of what's comfortable and get on the streets,' said one, obliviously ignorant of the fact that at the age of twenty-four, Hillary had been a civil rights activist who went undercover to investigate discrimination in public schools. Hillary was also the first candidate to pay attention to the Flint, Michigan, water crisis, joining forces with Flint's mayor long before Bernie showed up in town.

"But like Clinton's work on LGBTQ issues, decades old rather than campaign inspired, none of this made it into flashy stories headlining her lifelong commitment to race, gender, and sexual justice. ... Sanders made sure that '1993 Crime Bill' and 'super-predator' defined Clinton on racial issues, especially for those active in the Black Lives Matter movement, who were influential in shaping the perceptions of other young black Americans. In fact, Sanders himself, along with many black leaders, had voted for the crime bill -- which many later regretted, Clinton included. ... She also apologized profusely for using the 'super-predator' label, even though in her speech it was not aimed at African American youth but the dealers who explained them. ... But for too many millennials, both black and white, '1994 Crime Bill' and 'super-predator' said all one needed to know about Clinton. Some spoke as though she was personally responsible for the spike in mass incarceration that was a consequence of her husband's bill. 'She was part of the whole problem that started sending blacks to jail,' a young black man from Ohio observed. He wasn't alone. Another - a millennial black woman, also from Ohio -- likened the choice between Clinton and Trump to the choice 'between being stabbed and being shot.' Sports icon Colin Kaepernick, famous for kneeling during the national anthem as a form of protest, described both Trump and Clinton as 'evil': 'Both are proven liars and it almost seems like they're trying to debate who's less racist.'"

Also, new voter ID laws suppressed votes in some places.

I don’t understand either, but that’s their choice. I don’t mind the Michael Steele’s, Colin Powell’s, Condoleeza Rice’s of the world or even Ben Carson....it’s the ones like I named in the OP that go out their way to make it a point that they are black republicans and “off the plantation”...they are getting paid to spew their crap and have become the token Black person that conservatives go to when trying to make a point about race....they exploit being black, but then complain about Black people always talking about race

I attended open mike at my favorite coffeehouse. Often, stand-up comedians try new material there. One guy’s schtick is being a Black Republican. After telling a few jokes about how
he is the only Republican in his family, he talked about Joe Biden moving towards a decisive lead. Followed by “. . . Oh look, y’all are gonna nominate your own cranky, old, white guy!” - Trying to make this sound like mote in my eye, plank in your’s, kind of thing, sounding a little confused about who gets the plank and who gets the mote. It was obnoxious false equivalency. Trying to remind the audience that Biden has said some ethnically insensitive things years before. I turned to an acquaintance and said “We are going to forget about all this, one year from now.” And then I left. To be fair, I think he did get a few digs in, on Trump. It’s been many weeks, obviously the place closed soon after, although they are doing take-out service, with no evening hours.

Stand-up comedians walking up to an open mike at coffeehouses have a captive audience, which gives them a license to be annoying.

Who's a lawyer so he's one of the tougher, smarter ones with quick comebacks on twitter and his talk radio show.

Isiah Washington, former actor from "Grey's Anatomy" who got fired for using a homophobic slur towards TE Knight, is also on the social media Trump grift because he gives Trump credit for the criminal justice reform bill and had this delusion about Trump being more for the "black agenda" than Omaha.

Jason Whitlock actually opposes the second amendment, not a conservative position. Yet he criticizes the "far left" and "elites".
