Hey MSNBC watchers:

How are we liking the "dynamic duo format" that the network has gone to in the afternoons? Nicole Wallace and Brian Williams, Chuck Todd and Katy Tur-it's been a little clunky. I prefer Nicole on her own. 6 Central is dead to me. As annoying as Tweety was Kornacki is worse.

But, he was entertaining. His 7pm time slot is a wasteland now. And Steve Kornacki is the personification of annoying. MSNBC should hire Al Franken. That would ne must-watch tv.

He’s a bit excitable but I’m sure he was bullied all his life for being gay. I guess it never stops. I’m gay and unfortunately adults can be even nastier then kids.

I definitely was not indicating you or anyone on DU would bully. That was totally general statement. Trust me I can’t stand Andy Cohen. Just annoying to me. So everyone has different people in all walks of life that they just don’t click with.

about all this.

But, I don't trust any of these places to actually do any serious investigating. They could, because they've got good people in the field, but there just isn't enough of their type of news to fill 24 hours, so it's mostly opinion.

Nobody on the desks does any sort of actual reporting, just kinda take what they get and try to get "good" interviews out of it. Nicolle and a couple of others are entertaining and good at pakaging, but in no way a source of news.

More often there's NPR and PBS actuallly coming up with new and good stuff. And then you've got WAPO. NYT, Atlantic, Vanity Fair, New Yorker, and a few others who can actually dig out a story. They all have pretty much the same sources, but how they work them and follow leads makes the difference.

The Fox news format with a group or panel rather than just one host. I'm not a big fan of this new arrangement.
