Land of the free! Home of the BRAVE!
This seems to be the rallying cry from the individuals who refuse to wear masks, who refuse to stay home.
Here's what I say.
What they are doing is the exact opposite of BRAVE. They lack the bravery to isolate themselves. They lack the bravery to sacrifice for other people, for the common good. They lack the bravery to break their routine. They're scared. Scared that their little lives are going to change for few months.
I'm not talking about the people wrestling with the decision to go back to work.
I'm talking about people whining about not being able to go to the beach, a restaurant, or to enter a grocery store without a mask.
I'm talking about the people who belittle others for wearing a mask.
Those people lack courage. And they lack an ounce of sense.
They lack the ability to do what is difficult.
They are weak. They are privileged. they are spoiled. They think they love America, but they don't. They love themselves. And I'm not a huge religion fan...but they don't love Jesus either. They love what they have created Jesus to be in their own minds.
