1. Jake Tapper yesterday too.

He was conducting an interview with the Mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottoms, and at the very conclusion of the interview he said, "Before you go I really have to ask you this.." like it was some urgent matter, but he asked her about Tara Reade. He "really had to...", almost as if he doesn't have free will. He also saved the really inflammatory question for last, which indicates to me he was (or should have been) embarrassed to ask it in the first place. Why was this an appropriate "must ask" question for the Mayor of Atlanta? What bullshit!

I'm really completely sick not only of the story but the idiots giving oxygen to it.

13. Something's been mentioned the last few weeks

I've heard this numerous times maybe even in a years time, but yes in the last few weeks. The idea was first thrown out there by an SNL player , that he could care less about whatever he says on the show. It's a job, it's the narrative they want, he just gives voice to it. Then we just heard Cuomo from CNN refer to it. He doesn't believe in what he does. A long time ago I believed that the talking heads
were "invested" in what they said. They aren't, it's a show they get paid to perform. Who knows how Mika really feels. Maybe it's apparent by who her and Joe used to hang with. The stuff that comes out of their mouths, grain of salt. They are paid to talk for 2 hrs, given their talking points to draw the viewers in. Money to be made. Performers, not journalists.
