I have a sibling who still refuses to wear a mask in the city where the first US death of covid 19- Santa Clara, Ca. I call him Special Brand of Stupid. His reasoning is mom survived the virus at 81 in March, so what could possibly happen to him a healthy 29 year old. We’ve tried but he won’t listen. He is very Libertarian, but also a professor in the University or California system. He thinks he knows better. I hope he is right and stays healthy but as a family we know better in that this virus can take down the healthiest.

unless it's some N95 tech the mask really doesn't help the wearer much, but it helps prevent giving the virus to others. people who won't mask up are saying they don't give a crap about anyone else around them. fortunately they are easily spotted.
