Trump Blames China For Acting Too Late In Coordinating U.S. Coronavirus Response

“China knew our nation was facing a deadly threat as early as January, and yet they did nothing to develop a plan we could use to slow the spread of the virus,” said Trump, noting thousands of American lives could have been saved if Chinese president Xi Jinping had only taken the threat seriously from the start and implemented a strategy to reduce the negative impact on the U.S. economy.

WASHINGTON — Lambasting the rival superpower for what he called “reckless” and “irresponsible” behavior, President Donald Trump publicly blamed China Monday for acting too late in coordinating the U.S. Covid-19 response. “China knew our nation was facing a deadly threat as early as January, and yet they did nothing to develop a plan we could use to slow the spread of the virus,” said Trump, noting thousands of American lives could have been saved if Chinese president Xi Jinping had only taken the threat seriously from the start and implemented a strategy to reduce the negative impact on the U.S. economy. “The Chinese government just kept waiting and waiting, sitting on their hands as the outbreak spread through the U.S. rather than leading our nation in the way it so desperately needed. States shouldn’t be left out to dry, putting together piecemeal pandemic responses. What else is a strong Communist Party for? And now they’re trying to cover it up, claiming the U.S. isn’t their responsibility.” At press time, Trump added the administration had obtained new intelligence suggesting the Chinese government had engineered coronavirus in a lab in Washington.

You also pulled the US resource OUT of China in a fit of pique because the answer was already in place, but your FAR superior predecessor was responsible for it and your fragile, infantile ego could not abide that he was so much better than you in EVERY respect.

Donald J. Trump is a life-long fraud and loser. Later today, after the SCOTUS determines that the Constitution does NOT grant him king-like status, expect him to once again grab his ball and storm off...hopefully for good, or at least until he is sent to prison.

orange asswipe did - blaming his own inaction on China.

During a flood, I don't base my actions on what my neighbors are doing or not doing. They can deny the water is already in their house but that does not mean I opt to ignore the dangers of flood waters to my own home. To my family. I don't get to watch as my house is destroyed and my family drowns and blame my neighbors for my decision to not act.

My actions to defend my family and my home are not based on how my neighbor reacts to a crisis.

Like in hurricanes. Just because my neighbor decides to ride it out doesn't mean I should.

...would have been time he spent

1) Calling it a 'Democrat Hoax'
2) Claiming it was under control
3) Generally standing around with one thumb up his butt and the other busily typing about his great ratings

It would have made no difference in his response, which President Obama described accurately.
