Is the GOP trying to kill us, obviously. But I have a question about the courts, jury duty

The courts cant just sit idle, can they!

I just got a jury summons for June 1, talk about stress over that, sigh...

It got me thinking, once arrested and indicted they have a right to a trial by jury within what, 60 days? 90 days?

I cant get an exact answer, varies by state.

So, if we dont have trials, they go free? So expect a lot of jury summons soon.

I'd almost rather get COVID-19 than serve on a jury right now. The last time I was called it was standing room only during the first hour of voir dire. They ended up bringing in chairs from another room. It was crowded and hot, perfect setting for a super-spreader event.
