A heavily packed bar in Wisconsin. No masks. Mr. Death is smiling.

I don't have the pic, but it was on TV. I mean, really, how many dumb people are there in the world? Who in their right mind would have gone into a mobbed bar, a place that looked like it was Saturday night serving two-fers?

Wish I could post the film clip, but I don't have it.

But that clip proves the case, once and for all, that there's no cure for stupid.

You've got to wonder how many of these fools will be jammed into emergency rooms in a few weeks. And you've also got to wonder how many of them were on that "Freedom" march on the state capitol with their rifles.

I wish we could track everyone in that bar for two weeks and see what occurs.

I think we both know what's going to happen.

I was born in Wisconsin and have worn the moniker "Cheesehead" with pride. Not any more.

These people are in denial and they've let their stupidity run their lives. Pathetic.

was present. Heard that northern IL residents near the state line went north for a beer.

Dr. Death, Grim Reaper, the boogie man....they are all coming for some of them for sure.

Buh hey, I needed a draft beer...what have you got to lose?

about how droplets can remain in the air for something like 14 minutes, especially indoors.
So, in a packed bar with people talking loudly, yeah, just a few carriers are enough.

evangelicals sitting on the school boards in southern states have had a heavy hand in developing text books for the nations school systems. The part about how they excise science out of those books and class curriculum was a disturbing read.

My uneducated guess is that many of these people don't know anything about science. Don't care about it, and wouldn't know the difference between virus and a booger in their hanky.

I’m ashamed to say but, Wisconsin is the drunk capital of the US. Anything for a beer! They prefer to call it “socializing” rather than “drinking” and they’ve been whining about not being able to go to the bars this entire time. My county (Dane) is still under safe at home restrictions, so nothing opened up here yet.
And now all the FIBS are seeking hair salon appointments near the border cities. Maddening!

(Fellow Wisconsinites will know what a FIB is, my apologies, in advance, to anyone from IL....)

My brother used to live there in our more rambunctious days.....there were a lot of bars on that street. The locals there would call it the "West Allis Death March" if you attempted to drink your way from one end of the street to the other in one night. Tried it one night, came close to 2 in the morning and we were close to making it. I thought close enough to call it good....then my brother told me in Wisconsin the bars close at 4 am not 2 like any other civilized state. Thought I was pacing ok until that point....if a hangover could be epic, that next day certainly qualified.

The phrase "West Allis Death March" takes on a whole new more sinister meaning now compared to then.
