(43,049 posts)a question. Which is still unanswered. BTW, The answer should include how many jobs would exist if we didn't export (the flip side of free trade.)
And here's another question-- how many manufacturing jobs were eliminated due simply to automation and increased efficiency in manufacturing and not to outsourcing?
There are more questions lurking about-- this is a complicated subject with no easy answers.
