Folks, there's only three possible realities here. And none of them are particularly good.

1. Trump is lying to the country about taking hydroxychloroquine; he's not taking anything. This is bad because not only is Trump once again lying to the American people, but he's being grossly unethical because he's pushing the idea of taking an unproven and potentially dangerous drug on the people. This is also bad because he would have had his own doctor cover up this lie.

2. Trump is not lying to the country about taking hydroxychlorquine, but his doctors are actually giving him a placebo in order to placate his demands to take the drug. This is bad because doctors are too scared of Trump's wrath to be honest with him.

3. Trump is actually taking hydroxychloroquine. This is bad because--assuming Trump has not actually been diagnosed with Covid-19--it sends the message to the public that not only is it proven safe to take, it can be taken as some sort of preventive measure against contracting the disease and that could lead to a lot of risky behavior. I don't think that's ever even been theorized. The only good part about this scenario is that Trump might succumb to one of hydrochlorquine's side effects, and, well, womp-womp.

ignorance , fear and his primal need to cheat, I fully accept he is dosing the unproven drug.

And what IF Trump actually contracts the Virus and he doesn't tell anyone of the symptoms or he's asymptomatic and one day, POW! It's double pneumonia, multi-organ failure, he's on a ventilator in the WH, and . . . . . .

How long before the WH makes it public that there is a new president?

He’s not taking it, but he doesn’t have to in order to use it as a shiny object. Frankly, it’s sort of crazy
people actually believe what he says. There’s literally no chance he is using this drug. None.

in November, as there was evidence of a middle east originated pandemic(MERS) was brewing in saudi arabia at that time but was overshadowed by covid.

So he may have been prescribed it prophylacticly. Which is why when covid began taking hold informationaly in January he suggested cornering the market, which he hinted at later by saying they had alot of doses, millions stored when he started throwing the name out there in public.

He is a simple man, with simple ideas that often are not grounded in contextual understanding, when he is given a little knowledge he thinks he knows it all, so if he was told in November this will help with a pandemic, he hears pandemic a few months later he thinks he knows the answer. But in this scenario, they knew something was coming in November and did practically nothing, as with the "new" trump pandemic plan that the "had all along", "the better plan than President Obama's", everything is a day late and a dollar short and covering failure, rather than being ahead of a problem.

It gives them their apparently desired outcome of death, but it doesn't take down the health care workers with them.

I say, if you are so determined to follow the carnival barker over the cliff in order to own the liberals, please proceed.

This drug thing will ensure a higher death toll which, even though he says he's concerned about the numbers, is really looking to make a dent in death tolls created by tyrants. It's a competition for him.

I think it is another lie to add to the volumes we have heard so far. False promises, false Guru.

I cannot imagine that with all the advisers available to him, that he is stupid enough to take this drug.
Then again.....I hope it is true.

In that drug. He thinks if he tells his base he's using it they will also use it and sales will increase. He has been pushing it way to hard for him not to benefit from sales.
