I predict there will be a crush of visitors there this weekend and in two weeks an explosion of CV cases.

The key metric to watch is the number of new positive tests in a day/total number of tests for that day.

It makes no difference if the number of cases goes from 1000 to 2000 in one day if the number of tests for that day also doubles. 10 positive tests from 100 total tests is no different than 20 positive tests from 200 total tests. Keep an eye on that ratio and not on the total number of cases or positive tests.

Now that they're testing >20,000 every day (I think the high was over 26k).
So cases went up dramatically.
But, they started announcing the positivity metric & that's going down.
So, more testing more cases.
The optimism is based up the % positives.
