Dr. Birx's Credibility Sinks Even Further As Her Own CDC Peers Are Reportedly Angry Over Her Refusal

To Correct Trump’s Blatant Lies
https://politicaltribune.org/dr-birxs-credibility-sinks-even-further-as-her-own-cdc-peers-are-reportedly-angry-over-her-refusal-to-correct-trumps-blatant-lies/
<snip>
Over the course of this coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Deborah Birx has gone from a respected American physician and diplomat who has served as the United States Global AIDS Coordinator under two presidential administrations to nothing more than yet another blithering Trump sycophant, willing to lie to the American public to massage the ego of the world’s biggest man child.

Over and over again, Dr. Birx has essentially spit in the face of science, logic, and safety for seemingly no other reason than to protect the reputation of Donald Trump, at the expense of her own. Or, at the very least, protect herself from the repercussions that come with disagreeing with him.

And now it seems that her decisions are starting to catch up with her.

During a segment on CNN, correspondent Kristen Holmes claimed she spoke with officials at the Centers for Disease Control and they’re extremely unhappy with Dr. Deborah Birx over her unwillingness to correct Donald Trump’s false and often dangerous, off the wall claims regarding the coronavirus.

“Nick Valencia reporting with me, talking to CDC officials in Atlanta, who said they’ve been disappointed with Dr. Birx and her lack of really pushing back on some of the comments that President Trump has made that we know are untrue,” Holmes stated.

She did far worse than that. She spat in the faces of 100K that will be dead by the weekend. She is supposedly a doctor that took an oath.

Medical Definition of Hippocratic Oath
Hippocratic Oath: One of the oldest binding documents in history, the Oath written by Hippocrates is still held sacred by physicians: to treat the ill to the best of one's ability, to preserve a patient's privacy, to teach the secrets of medicine to the next generation, and so on.

snip

A Modern Version of the Hippocratic Oath
I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:
I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.

I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures which are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.

I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.

I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability.

My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.
I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.
I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.

If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

Things will only get worst for her as the cases start to climb again. And as the number of deaths increases, she will go beyond the point where she might recover her peer's respect.
