I have an interagency meeting I'm managing in an hour. Should I put on a tie? (Original Post) brooklynite May 2020 OP

A Jerry Garcia tie would be most appropriate. Mike 03 May 2020 #2

Pants: no

But make sure your undies match your tie, just in case. But maybe I shouldn't just assume you will be wearing undies?

Expensive shirt, black velvet coat, tasteful tie, freshly ironed slacks.

I also make sure to have a very clean and well stocked bookcase of important leather bound tomes in the background and a snifter of fine brandy at arm's reach.

But, mockery has always been an important part of my character.

I'd suggest a nice bolo tie if you have one, brooklynite.

I can’t remember where it was, but that news person who was caught with no pants still makes me laugh.

He handled it well too.

You can use any picture on your phone as a background and the program will automatically put just your body in it, like blue screen.

Get an over-the-top fancy office picture and use it as a background. Or better yet, use a picture of the Oval Office.

Since they will want all the attention, this is a very serious consideration!

Cats Everywhere Are Crashing Zoom Chats
By Travis Greenwood| March 31, 2020

With millions of Americans now working and studenting remotely, there's been a huge spike in the number of unexpected cat sightings during Zoom video chats.

And the trend hasn't gone unnoticed on Twitter, where jokes on the topic have proliferated at warp speed and provided a welcome dose of levity against a backdrop of otherwise grim headlines.
