Was 94,993 less than an hour ago. Averaging 2,000 deaths a day it seems.

by Sunday it will be over 100,000. Spikes of infections are up especially in the states that opened up too soon.

Although that's one virus that trump seems genuinely frightened of, based on his frantic tweets back in 2014.

On Oct. 15, 2014, Trump tweeted that “President Obama has a personal responsibility to visit & embrace all people in the US who contract Ebola!” On Oct. 23, 2014, he kept ramping it up: “If this doctor, who so recklessly flew into New York from West Africa, has Ebola, then Obama should apologize to the American people & resign!” What utmost hypocrisy. Now Trump, by his mishandling of this incomparably worse COVID-19 pandemic that has killed tens of thousands of Americans and wrecked the US economy, should follow his own advice, and we ourselves should strongly call for him to step down.

You have 1200 pastors in California who are opening their churches in defiance of the reopening mandates. How MANY would that be that could possibly be infected and then count those they encounter outside of the church in their daily lives.

Now IQ45 is saying he won't close down the Country if we have another outbreak. This could really, really get bad.

We are getting ready to be told to go back to work and act like this whole thing is not happening, because Trump wants to pretend this virus away. It's kind of like praying something away, minus wasting time praying.

social distancing was to keep us safe. Since he reopened NC, cases have skyrocketed. Now, he is already moving to "Phase 2" tomorrow. So, something is up with that. He was definitely team safety before and now, he is definitely team screw it and let people die.

Cooper also did something that I don't know if any other governor has done. He made it so any social distancing recommendations do NOT apply to any churches or church functions. In other words, churches in NC have special rights to spread Covid-19 all they want, with no limits on them.

the number of cases, the amount of tests conducted, and the deaths.

We're pretty much Russia now.

Mass confusion. People have no idea of what's really going on.

On top of that, every other day we hear of new research that directly contradicts with research findings released by other labs.

...of course, it's early innings.

trump's own HHS ran a simulation, and predicted last year that the U.S. would be underfunded, underprepared and too disorganized to deal with a global pandemic. "Crimson Contagion" was the name of the simulation.

The simulated said: "The outbreak of the respiratory virus began in China and was quickly spread around the world by air travelers, who ran high fevers. In the United States, it was first detected in Chicago, and 47 days later, the World Health Organization declared a pandemic. By then it was too late: 110 million Americans were expected to become ill, leading to 7.7 million hospitalized and 586,000 dead."
