this character was involved in chasing down Ahmaud Arbery. He certainly looked like a party to the crime.

He was filming before Arbery and the pickup came into view--as if he was anticipating the scene that lay ahead.

It was a long sort of chase and the two vehicles worked together.

Before the clip begins, the truck was behind, sped up in front of Ahmaud then stopped, blocking him.

He ran around the passenger side of the truck to avoid Travis but the tangled anyway.

Meaning that it was edited for you to see what you saw.

Had you seen less, you might not have thought there was any more video.

Still don't know how it'll play out. Like with the video, I only know what I'm told, and that's edited.

If you saw the video you may have noticed all the shaking and flailing of the camera just before Arbery came into view. Dashcam wouldn't flail out of control like that. Looked to me like a hand-held device.

His attorney released it to the family's attorney, who released it. The dude was trying to save his skin.

They are definitely using him to turn, because they overcharged him.

If you watch the video there's a moment when the victim comes into view the camera moves to the right. I' ll bet you dollars to donuts the camera skewed because the guy was looking for his gun. One of the attorney's claims if you listen it sounds like a gun was being cocked.

He was part of it. So if it was murder, felony-murder is the proper charge.

He was part of the whole thing. Its just like if you and your buddies decide to rob a bank. You are the get away driver. Your buddies go into the bank and kill a security guard and a clerk.
You get charged with murder along with your buddies because you were part of the robbery.

There is a specific law, in most jurisdictions, that co conspirators acting out an armed robbery will be equally charged if one of them commits a murder in the act of armed robbery.

There is no armed robbery here so you would have to prove that the third person knew that the father and son had a premeditated intent of murder (not just chasing down someone) and that he shared that I tent. The fact that he recorded the event and released it will provide a convincing argument that counters against premeditated murder.

In many similar cases, like Zimmerman and police officers, civil rights activists express a growing concern that prosecutors overcharge perpetrators which the enraged community rejoices in but ultimately creates a bar that is too high to prove according to the requirements of the code.

I'd suggest the death penalty if I believed in it.
