5. Give It Back To Howard Dean

We did pretty well with Howard at the helm. And this time around, his 50 State Strategy might actually bear some unexpected fruit, since it looks like a few States are in play that are NEVER in play (i.e. Arizona, Georgia, Texas, etc.) Let Carville be some sort of adviser. We need an All-Star team of advisers bringing this home. I have a feeling there will be a strong presence of former Obama campaign advisers, since that campaign did a pretty good job of working all phases of a campaign.

Me.

and I must say he was treated disgracefully by the Obama Admin...due to Rahm Emanuel. Dr. DEan was a huge advocate of the 50 state strategy and the amazing work he did with all of the states, which until he came along had been ignored and was dying on the vine, is bearing fruit today. He sent them money so they could open offices, listened to what they had to say and supported them in every way he could. Rahm dismissed that strategy insisting that the way forward was to focus on recruiting more conservative candidates who could compete with the Cons. He never understood that the Cons wanted real Cons not Con-Lite just as we want real Dems.

Carville is a political genius who 'gets' what is relevant at any given moment.

He's a street fighter who goes for the throat - which is sorely lacking in how Dems take on Trump/GOP as well as the anti-Dem left.

It was Carville (and Bloomberg/Tim Obrien) as much as Clyburn who took down Bernie and helped Biden, IMO.

He knows how to throw a punch. And if he sees that he drew blood, the next punch will be harder and more damaging. Heis very unlike the mealy- mouthed democratic strategists of recent vintage.

The DNC need a good administrator. I believe the current DNC head is doing a good administrative job. The DNC can use a Cheif Strategist, I believe Carville would be excellent in that role, if he stays away from backing candidates in the primary.
