This was planned but my guess is since he wasn't going to be there anyways why not let her extend her show if there is more she wants to talk about .

At the end of Rachael Maddow's show on Friday, May 22, she used language indicating the change was going to be permanent moving forward, and on The Last Word's Facebook page, it only has the show on Mondays through Thursdays now. I hate how you can't find press releases on the MSNBC website about this stuff. I already sent a snail mail letter to MSNBC asking what's going on.
