Georgia Is In Play
May 23, 2020 at 9:42 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Harry Enten: “Democrats have Georgia on their minds. When former Vice President Joe Biden’s team presented their electoral strategy in mid-May, Georgia was one of three states, along with Arizona and Texas, that they believed they could compete in, even though those places haven’t voted for a Democratic presidential nominee in at least 20 years.”

“A look at the statistics tell us that Biden’s team isn’t bluffing. Georgia is definitely in play in the 2020 presidential election, even if it isn’t as strong a pickup opportunity for Democrats as some other states.”

But could get interesting. Especially with TN Gov screwing up their virus response and the Turtle’s deep unpopularity.

Biden will have. I've read Tick Wilson's book Running against the Devil, and he makes sense. There are about 17 states in play, that's where to target when you have limited resources.

is far different than in previous elections, as there is no travel or large rallies. The money will need to be used for advertising and virtual appearances. I think overall, it will be cheaper than recent presidential campaigns and I don't think Trump's access to more money will necessarily give him an edge.

Meanwhile, whenever Trump appears on TV as president, he often helps Democrats. He thinks he is getting free air time, but he can be his own worst enemy. The many video clips alone are absolutely priceless. The ads usually write themselves.

No matter where they live. It’s exactly what we did in 18 and will do in 20. But it pisses off the purist and more left of our party because it produces a more moderate left congress. I’m all for that. But we have certain groups in our coalition trying to primary these more moderate candidates in favor of someone who can’t win a general election. Fortunately they haven’t been very successful.

And you can quote me on that. We have 5 more months of covid19 wreaking havoc on this country before election day. Twilter's followers are going to find out the hard way they were not very smart in following Twitler's lead when Faux News finally comes out and tells people (against Twitler's wishes) WEAR A DAMN MASK IF YOU WANT TO LIVE. They will do this when they realize they're killing off their viewership and republiCON party..

He has a 25% base that will never leave him because he has made it OK to
use the n-word again. Of course most of that 25% are near do wells who
Trump would not want anything to do with in person. Some of that 25% might
leave Trump as they go into poverty and or get sick and or die from C-19.

character in "A Face in the Crowd", who had such loathing and contempt for his loyal followers. Trump loves their adoration, but can't stand the people.

Yes, I think a handful will leave him when they realize he is the cause of their illness, loss, and unemployment, though I suppose there are also those who will hang in there until the bitter end, finding conspiracy theories to blame others like liberals and Democrats. Or Obama!!!

... we have had 2.5 generations who have been bathed in misinformation of the worst kind.
Even though they are a minority of a minority you can see their rambunctious ignorance
in their anti lock down protests, their "I ain't wearing no mask" bravado, and their "nothing
tastes as sweet as liberal tears" crap.

The other day @ large local nursery/garden center I saw a man wearing a face mask that
had the red and white stripes of the American flag and right over his mouth was a picture
of Trump yelling and pointing his finger. He saw me looking at him and tried to start a
conversation but I turned my back and walked away.

But Georgia is run by a Governor who stole his own election. Kemp will fix it for Trump.

I fear Texas is in the same boat.

And Biden has to win my a significant margin to take Florida.
