So, at Kroger today...

I saw a firefighter (or maybe a paramedic) chatting away with a woman in an aisle without wearing a face mask. Face masks are required in Michigan per an executive order. The firetruck outside was also a paramedic unit.

Seriously. We're older folk who aren't out seeing this stuff, but if I do I'll snap a pic and then find out where to send it.

The only thing I bring in is my debit card.

Tempting, though!

The Reptilian Party will not go after the Fire or Police unions. They'd love to destroy all other unions, but not Police or Fire.

So, as anti-union as the R's are, Police and Fire are safe.

12. Here in New York, the places I've been (grocery/gas station) have signs saying masks are required

They're posted on all entrances. And there are also signs limiting the number of shoppers who are allowed in the store at one time. When I went to pick up pet food at a pet supply store, I was asked to wait outside until someone left. It's a medium sized store, but the aisles are narrow, and originally only 6 people were allowed in at one time, now it's up to 10. And all employees are wearing masks and usually gloves. I've also seen them wiping down the checkouts which have plastic shields everywhere and the masked employee at the gas station told me that they also sanitize the pump handles.
