feel comfortable resuming their pre-pandemic lifestyles/behaviors. That just ain't happening by November. Not the way Trump is handling things. Maybe not ever no matter how he handles it.

Even if working class people have more money to spend, if they don't spend it or don't spend it in the "correct" manner then the economy won't return to it's "correct" status.

restaurants, malls, etc. because they don't feel safe yet. No amount of urging & moaning will get them back either. I'm one of them, and when I see testing showing there's little to no virus circulating, THEN I'll go back again. He can try goosing the economy as much as he van get away with, but it won't work. I think he's lost the election because of the way he DIDN'T handle the virus & there's no way to go back for a redo.

5. Precisely. As Bill Gates said, the economy is self-closing and will only self-open.

And, as one business owner said when facing the prospect of opening up for, at most, 20% of prior business, "I'll lose less money by just staying closed."

The righties want to run the country like a business. tRump did so, like a tRump business. What happens to tRump businesses? They go bankrupt.

We'll do the same with any second round.

Maybe, when the picture becomes clear, we'll free that up for home repairs/remodels or something like that, but definitely not before New Years.

is president in order to prevent mass poverty billions will have to be given to the people that will spend every cent. That is the hourly working class. They have been forced to accept no discretionary money. They will spend every penny because they never have everything they need. 60 plus years of stagnant wages have forced them into austerity. It will drive the right wing f**king nuts to give money to the working class. They have already exhibited heartless ways attacking ACA, SS, Medicare, Medicaid and every and all assistance to financially challenged.

Fiscal stimulus will be very important, too. A key lesson of the financial crisis was that a robust and sustained policy response is critical to forestall an even more severe downturn.”

How can 40M+ unemployed afford to splurge on anything right now?

I'm losing faith in humanity in general since the obscenely rich are fucking it up.
Otherwise, I'd have heard of some great things done by the Cargills, Waltons, and Sacklers, among others by now?

14. trump and McConnell are stiffing the American people

And using our money to reward those who'll give to his campaign, and help them instead. If they don't get $2000 a month to the people this economy will crash and we'll have the great trump depression to deal with, and all because trump failed to prevent it here when he had the chance and refused to do anything . trump has become the most deadly murderer he's always dreamed of becoming , and it will get worse before he gets removed. trump and McConnell are now dragging their feet hurting Americans and all the small businesses intentionally now, while we face a catastrophe he made.
