I don't think he would be doing rallies and calling it a Hoax and Fake in March.

4. Pence is not dumb. He's malicious.

There are dozens of Indianans/Hoosiers who will live the rest of their lives with HIV because he thought he had the right to withhold permission for needle exchanges so he could scold morally inferior drug users. He's a fucking moral monster as malicious as Trump merely with more smarm.

And btw, his co-conspirator in that malicious life-threatening/altering tut-tutting is now the fucking Surgeon General.

Are you saying that Pence would have done any better? He botched a previous epidemic and is the head of the Trash Force. I just don't see him as any kind of improvement, and, if given the chance, he might be the same or worse, that is, if you pay attention to him and his history.

Not only that, but Pence's theocratic leanings would probably have started moving us towards a theocracy, whereas Trump is more for oligarchy and both ideologies are enemies of our democracy by their nature. Pence is there to represent McChristians and to garner their vote.

Blessed Be the Fruit!

6. It's not the Senate's job to impeach. The House does that.

The Senate holds the trial. They either convict and remove from office, which requires at least a 2/3 majority, or acquit (which, predictably, they did).

And if they didn't remove Pence at the same time, what exactly would be improved is unclear.

9. Trump was impeached. He just wasn't convicted.

In politics, an impeachment is just an indictment. After the indictment comes the trial. The trial is held in the Senate. The Senate didn't have a two-thirds majority to convict, so Trump was acquitted.
