Hey, party like the pandemic is completely over. Darwin knew! May some of them rest in peace in advance and I hope the debilitating, long-term effects, (maybe a lifetime) for some others is not too overwhelming to adjust to.

(12,904 posts)It was cold and rainy all last week. And yesterday was our first warm, partly sunny day, but it was only 75 degrees.
Its possible this video is from yesterday, but it looks like it was taken during much warmer weather.

Docks throughout the Lake of the Ozarks shook as the wake of dozens of boats zipped through the water on Saturday, marking the unofficial start of summer.
The reservoir filled with vacationers as locals and out-of-staters got a hint of the temperatures in Missouri at the end of May. Many folks made the trek to the tourist hot spot for the Memorial Day weekend. They took a break from work, hoping to grab onto a sense of normalcy after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down large parts of the nation.

I was wrong about the video, Im seeing it everywhere now. it couldve been warmer at the lake than it was here, but still too dangerous to go and congregate like that. Stupidity has serious consequences these days.
