No fucking shit! He just said that to Velshi on MSNBC.
I swear he's not fucking human.
He could tell you that you have dick cancer and his smirking "everything is sunshine" expression would never change.
I've known a shit ton of people that could blow smoke up your ass and convince you it's a summer breeze, but this guy takes blowing smoke up your ass to a different level.
Like one of my old Master Chiefs used to say; "that guy is so good at turd polishing, he could convince you that you could pick it up by the 'clean end'"

according to the above economist historically and what's happening in Sweden NOW... "opening up" the economy without a federated TTQ or vaccine doesn't work but for a 10% bump in GDP from 40% down.
Double that number to 20 ... we're still - 20% GDP according to CBO
March GDP fall was 4.8%, CBO estimates April to be -38%
All these people dead because stupid assed Trump wasted the shelter in place time and didn't get a federated TTQ in place

(5,122 posts)This poor excuse for a human said that. Red states will be doing better economically because they are opening up.
Jeezus Effin Krist. These people are truly evil. I took that as him insinuating that blue states do not deserve help since they are choosing not to open while red states are.

(15,311 posts)but not the blue states to make that appear true.
The Blue States could crush the United States economy into the fucking ground.
Maybe they should.

Note: I always react negatively to "smirks".

June will be better than May.
And you know they will pull that shit despite all official definition of what "recovery" means to an economist.

You would have to have a time machine to know when the recovery began. We are in the first half of the game, it is way to early to call it.
Substantial recovery will begin when the disease is defeated, not before.
