was very competent journalism for a change. "Soft" should be used to describe everything Trump does. It's accurate and it will also bug the hell out of him.

We (Dems) are getting better at this all the time, after years of not being very good at it. Nicole Wallace and her team (Phil Rucker, especially) do it too and I think Steve Schmidt is a good illustration of how to take it to the next level.

I appreciate how this technique is emphasized in the commentary.
