(38,187 posts)Keep going, right wing assholes. Keep right on going with your hate and violence. Finally, some damn consequences for right wing violence and bigotry. It is about damn time.

(23,208 posts)..to saddle a unicorn and ride it!
(I bet that'll happen before they get trained not to drag their knuckles....)
Sorry to be snarky--I just have a damn low opinion of the troglo-nuts.
Jamastiene
(38,187 posts)So, I get it.
We definitely would stand a better chance at training the unicorn, if we can find it.
Where is the unicorn? PM me, if you know, because the right wingers will torture it then shoot it to death if you let them know where it is. Make sure they never know where it is.
I'm sure I can tame it. I can tame any animal.
If we can find the unicorn, maybe we can turn it into a space flying unicorn and go find another planet. I will need a saddle, a socket set, an Xacto knife, and some craft paints. Oh, and someone to build it a spaceship and spacesuit. I just want to decorate the saddle, lol.
Unlike what happened with the internet, that ruined it and turned it into popup hell full of too many ads and browser crashing nag screens and bigots everywhere, let's promise each other NOT to tell our Trumplodyte, right wing lunatic family members about it or teach them how to ride the unicorn to get there, ok?
That might be the only way we can ever have a decent world to live in, if we make damn sure not to let any of them come and make sure any children born and raised never become like them. That would be a world worth fighting for, and at least hopeful.
I will happily go with the training and riding the unicorn idea, because it's taking too long for right wingers to evolve. I don't have trillions of years for the slow pokes to evolve. We already know they can't do it in mere millions of years, because they are purposely willfully stupid and too stubborn for anyone's good. I'm tired of the rest of us being held back by them.
We could have fun with the unicorn idea. It's hopeful, at least.
I hope we can bring lots of artists and musicians to any new planet we find. I want beauty and joy in the new world.

(4,305 posts)Not if you were fired for misconduct whether in or outside the workplace.

(7,518 posts)Different states have different rules depending on what disqualifies a person for unemployment and so I did a quick Google search looking for Kentucky's. Kentucky's statue states, "He has been discharged for misconduct or dishonesty connected with his most recent work." The employer had every right to fire an employee who acts like an asshole on their own time, but I suspect it would be a stretch to connect hanging an effigy of Andy Beshear to the persons work.

(4,305 posts)You must be out of work through no fault of your own
While every case is different, your Kentucky unemployment benefits eligibility is not likely if you were fired or quit your job. In these cases, you are welcome to apply for Kentucky unemployment benefits, but the claim is likely to be denied. In order to receive Kentucky UI, you must be out of workor receiving significantly reduced hoursat no fault of your own. This type of employment generally occurs through lay off or company closure.
While being fired for misconduct or quitting are not usually grounds for unemployment insurance benefit eligibility, there are certain circumstances where the reason for quitting is that you had no other choice than to do so. In these cases you may be able to collect unemployment benefits.
He got fired for his own actions. I guess we have to settle for a we will never know scenario.

Since this guy still had a job, I wonder what the foundation of his extreme hate action was other than supporting tRump. Local news reported there were at least two KY Rethug state legislators hanging around the protest earlier in the day, no doubt to stir up hate.
Any news item of this nature in the OP is refreshing in Kentucky these days.......
