Trump campaign's new chief of staff was arrested for violating campaign finance law

Meet Stephanie Alexander, the newest member of trump’s campaign leadership team.

Her website bio photo? Nope.
Drivers License? Nope.
Yearbook photo? Nah.

It’s her mugshot from when she was arrested for violating campaign finance law.

Of course.

The newly promoted chief of staff for Donald Trump's presidential campaign was arrested in Oklahoma in 2016 and charged with conspiracy to violate state election laws after police seized her then-boyfriend's phone in a cocaine bust, Insider has learned.

Stephanie Alexander, previously the Trump campaign's Midwest political director, was bumped up to chief of staff Tuesday in a campaign shake-up. Prior to joining the Trump campaign, Alexander was active in state GOP politics in Oklahoma, where charges filed in 2016 allege that she participated in a conspiracy to illegally coordinate dark money in a 2014 race for state superintendent of public instruction.

Alexander pleaded not guilty, and the state dropped the charges in 2017 without explanation. Last month, a state judge granted Alexander's request to both expunge and seal the court records on the case.

Funny, a person with her background wouldn't even be able to pass a check to do a White House tour.

Tricky Dicky was a real prick but he and his administration were super competent. I am grateful that The Dotard isn't nearly as competent as Tricky Dick. Compared to trump Nixon was a visionary.

Absolute Republican job requirement these days. SOP. And it's been so effective in keeping them alive that it's understandable if they find it hard to keep from publicly bragging about it. Devon Nunes had a little lapse here and tried to clean it up a bit toward the end:

"We are forced to have to ballot harvest, because it's the only way to win. As long as we have a robust ballot harvesting operation come November, and I hate saying that, because it's illegal in 49 states, I think Mike Garcia is in good shape to hold on to that seat, because it's traditionally a Republican seat."
