You were sitting at home watching your TV, I was on the streets participating in some anarchy...
Doesn't have the same ring to it, but you get the idea.

...looked straight at the camera and smirked. I'll bet anything he kept his hands in his pockets so he could say later: "I never laid a hand on him."
That thug murdered a fellow human being in cold blood, in broad daylight, on camera, in front of many witnesses. He felt entitled to do it.
The fact that he is even the same species as me, much less shares the same skin color, makes me sick to my soul.
