Just saw a clip on MSNBC. What more does he need than a ten minute clip of the officer's knee on the victim's neck?

1. There seem to have been plenty of witnesses to murder who were yelling at the cop

to stop. It's not even clear there was a crime committed since the guy could have gotten the bill in change at another store. Even if he was passing a known counterfeit bill, it's not a death penalty case by any stretch of the imagination. I don't understand this prosecutor at all.

4. That explains the standard for a charge of first degree murder

I don't think anyone believes that Officer Chauvin got up that morning and said to himself, "You know, I'm going to kill a man today." So murder in the first is off the table. But the notion that there is no support for any criminal charge takes a special kind of myopia on the prosecutor's part.

You can just imagine what the defense is going to do with that statement.

Most cops take them or pay them out. That’s why illicit drugs are so plentiful in this country.
