tRump's Swamp State? Not so much.

Naturally there are limits akin to "shouting 'fire' in a crowded theatre", but company censorship of posts does not qualify.

It protects free speech from governmental interference.

Private companies can pretty much do as they please.

Tyranny doesn't come from a corporation. It comes from a repressive government. That's what the Bill of Rights protects against.

has latitude under Section 230 to regulate its users and police content for things deemed inappropriate.

But any attempt to pull something basted on his new EO would be tied up in the courts for a long while.

the internet and already some in the White House are pushing back. We still have a first amendment. And there is a law on the books about big media. EO can not overturn a law.

You cannot offer any criticism of Democratic politicians on this site. Even direct quotes from said politicians are considered “bashing.”

However, this policy is selectively enforced. I got a post hidden when I criticized Biden’s ‘You ain’t black’ remark, but yesterday DUers trashed Amy Klobuchar with abandon and no one had their posts hidden.

Go figure
