Trump and his GOP enablers are only in government to look out for themselves. They are stealing and lying to the country. Trump and the GOP Senators are getting richer and richer as the country comes apart. But their voters refuse to look at the consequences of their vote for these crooks and criminals.

Barr is a criminal and a crook put into place just to protect Trump and McConnell. He has ruined the FBI and department of justice. McConnell looks the other way as long as he can take Chinese bribes and get richer. He installs crooked judges in the attempt to head off future criminal charges against all of the GOP crimes. It is a giant mess anyway you look at it.

They intimidate IGs into keeping quiet. They fire good honest people out of their government positions. On and on it goes.

Meanwhile the Trumpsters all say what a wonderful job Trump is doing.

With the stacked courts, it remains to be seen if we can get rid of the bastards by election. If we do not get a free and fair election, and a clean transition, then we will be tested on how far we are wiling to go to restore honest government. If Trump suppresses the vote or refuses to accept the results of the election we could be in for a rough time.

The right-wing nuts have been preparing for decades for their minority to be able to enforce its will on the majority. They have done this with the strong support of the Republican supported gun laws. The far right considers that majority rule is "mob rule." The modern day "Brown Shirts" are armed to the teeth and consider you their deadly enemy. Many of these folks have been waiting for years for the right moment to rise up and take their country back....

The President of the United States told these people, this week, that the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat. He can pretend plausible deniability, but the right understand the message. The right wingers take that shit literally and they consider themselves to be patriots and the only real Americans and Trump is their beloved leader. The idiots that have been appearing, armed to the teeth, on the statehouse steps are the tip of a filthy iceberg. They are emboldened by the lack of government reaction.

Two million guns were legally purchased in March alone. Ammunition has been purchased by the ton and nearly all of the many ammo makers and sellers are out of inventory. As fast as the product is hitting the shelves, it is being bought up. The people who have been buying this stuff up would like to make you a Good Democrat. Don't take my word for it, walk into a big box sporting goods store and look at the shelves. Where gun sellers usually have a back room full of product, everything they have is now on display.

When I see a line of white women stretched out to protect black protesters, I am stirred inside. America is messed up because of Trump but far from dead.

It took protests like this to get civil rights laws passed in the 60s
It took protests like this to end the Vietnam war.
It took protests like this to get Nixon impeached.
I know. I was in them.

A protest like this is likely to get that cop sent to jail for a long, long time. Big bright lights are being shone on this cockroach of racist hate in the criminal justice system - which will send a signal to more and more cockroaches in those ranks. People have cell phones. A message is "You're not getting away with this racist brutality any more." This racist cop's life is ruined as it should be.

My heart aches with outrage that made my eyes well up from watching George Floyd's last suffering moments. As it did for Ahmaud Arbery. In the wake of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, etc.

What happened to those young men is bad. It is tragic that it took their loss to wake people up that this is still a major problem. But for the most part, these protests are good.

A lot of folks haven't been paying attention. That's how Trump got elected. Well, more are now. They won't just see these protests on the news. They'll learn more about the racist criminal in charge. That won't help Trump in November. Nor his racist enablers.

Honestly, I believe even he can feel the fear of facing people of color and whites too who will no longer put up with him. Those that support him will also fear the backlash a hate rally would endanger them also.
