Those residential neighborhood images of fires in the middle of the street being shown right now... these people just can’t comprehend that they are going to end up burning down homes with families in them.

I'm sure that many of them were outraged about the murder too.

About the only part that's made sense to me was burning down the police station, but I'm learning from others here that, apparently, everything needs to be destroyed.

receive insurance...perfect example of callousness on the left. This is why I don't do 'revolution'...everyday people always pay the price...collateral damage as it were-you see it on the right and the left. And property is pretty important when you find yourself out on the street. People lose unreplaceable things as well pictures, documents. And some doing this don't give a damn about Floyd.

Physical harm is indeed the worse crime. Not many moving options except a hospital or the morgue when that happens.

People in the suburbs who own their comfortable homes with big yards and well stocked stores nearby seemed to not understand the effects of the pandemic on urban dwellers.

And now they seem to not understand why people in urban areas might not be ok with destruction of their neighbourhoods either.

I guess they want to volunteer others for the cause.

I've been renting my entire life, and living completely alone for the last 20+ years. I have the privilege of a car, but it's also over 20 years old and cost a few hundred bucks.

If my landlord's place is destroyed, I'll just try to move to a more fair area as long as I'm not killed.

So obviously not everyone here agrees that destruction of property is a sensible response.

I'm just sitting here alone as usual and trying to learn from others.

That's what I was seeing in other threads earlier, that's all.

I would never partake in that stuff and I personally don't care if others have more than me. I just want fairness for everyone.

The cop would be killed in a similar way and the others would go to prison if I had any power in this world, but that's never going to happen and I can only control what I do.

of white youths breaking windows, starting fires and instigating violence. That is the story that needs to be investigated immediately. It seems like agent provocateur sent in to give the police justification to brutalize the protestors.

Not sure if they are cops, outside agitators, DOD or what but they are sure getting filmed doing it.

This Twitter thread has a few examples but there are many, many more.

I can't believe they are arrogant enough to do it while being filmed. They all have their faces covered.

is clearly experienced at doing this.

He's carrying an umbrella because he has thought it out enough to know that if he starts breaking these big windows the glass from above is going to fall on him, so he's got an umbrella to protect himself from it.

That's not something somebody who just shows up at a protest and gets out of control is going to think about or have on hand. There is a LOT of this kind of stuff going on. These are people who are experienced with this type of behavior.

Media need to do their job and interview the fire setters.

Before we judge, we need the facts and context of this.

I'm not going to buy into any chipping away at the general rightness of youth's cause. For decades they've already tried the old school "means to an end" standard.
