A few questions about public mask wearing.

a. If you order delivery food do you wear a mask to the door and does the delivery person do the same or do they just leave it at
the door and leave? (My answer - it is no contact)

2. If you are going to work do you wear a mask around your co-workers? If not why? (My answer - YES)

3. Do your co-workers wear a mask around you and other co-workers? If not why? (My answer - me YES; some others NO)

4. If you are going to work (at an office for instance) do you wear a mask when alone in office or cube? (My answer - NO but I occasionally forget I have one on)

5. If you run/exercise/walk outside do you wear a mask? (My answer - NO - but I'll start carrying one)

6. Are you uncomfortable wearing a mask? (My answer - NO)

7. Do you wish everyone would wear a a mask in public? If so why? (My answer - YES)

8. If you wear a mask in public how do you feel about people (staff and customers) that are not wearing masks? (My answer - getting more and more aggravated and angry at them)

9. What percentage of customers in your local food store wear masks and do the employees were masks? And how do you feel about no-maskers? (My answer - YES for Costco and Whole Foods; 60-70% Harris Teeter/Publix)

10. Are you more likely to shop in stores that require masks to enter and require employees to wear them (correctly i.e. covering mouth and nose)? (My answer - YES)

Oh and I am in the US. If you are in another country they may have a better national leadership and guidelines for masks.

I do not wear one walking my dogs, riding my bike, running, or working in my yard. Almost everyone I see is wearing masks in stores.

12. It is just curiosity. I see so many people without them that it hurts my head.

It we had full mask use COVID-19 would be under control which it is not here in NC. We had 4,000 people, mostly older white and obese, cheering a race with maybe 5% mask use last weekend and more scheduled today. That said I've seen other people that were not - old white obese people - who are probably not MAGATS walking around without them so I am perplexed.

I also figured that I might learn something which I did. I will start taking a mask with me when I run or walk outside.

a lot of bike riding and dont wear one. I don't think they are needed outside if you keep your distance. If I see someone without one at the store I keep extra distance.

So obviously I think we should all be wearing masks when we're around other people. It sucks to wear a mask, but it protects us all.

2. If you are going to work do you wear a mask around your co-workers? If not why? No, coworkers are essentially the same people I live with. Work is primarily outdoors and way more than socially distant. LOL

6. Are you uncomfortable wearing a mask? Somewhat, yes. it is running over 100 degrees right now. I am uncomfortable wearing pants.

7. Do you wish everyone would wear a a mask in public? If so why? If they are in a crowded situation where the infection rate warrants it, yes. otherwise I do not really care.

9. What percentage of customers in your local food store wear masks and do the employees were masks? And how do you feel about no-maskers? 80-90% of employees, maybe 40-50% of customers. Don't care about that, do have some concern about entire families and kids all shopping as a group.

10. Are you more likely to shop in stores that require masks to enter and require employees to wear them (correctly i.e. covering mouth and nose)? Nah, I only shop in a couple of stores period. Safeway, feed store, and hardware store about every 10 days or so, occasionally a Trader Joe's in Tucson. Other people in house go to walmart, I haven't been in there in 5 or 6 months.

22. Too many questions... I wear a mask at the store and they are required at work. I do not

wear one if I'm out walking but keep one on me just in case. Everyone should wear them in public places unless they have a good reason for not wearing it. When I do have to go to the big box for home renovations supplies I go to Menards because they require that everyone wears a mask. My grocery store requires employees to wear masks, and so far it seems like at least half the customers I see are wearing them.

23. I have not been out in public since the lockdown, but I have been down to my lobby, mailroom,

basement and out on the sidewalk in front of my building to talk to people and always wear a mask when I leave my apartment. Sometimes gloves and also bring a sanitizing wipe or two as well.

If I were to go to a grocery store or other public place in person, I would definitely wear a mask and would want other people to as well. I will probably still be able to work from home through the month of June and then return to the office on a staggered schedule to allow for social distancing. We will have to wear masks.

Do I like wearing masks? No, I actually really dislike it. I don't know if it's an anxiety thing or something else, but I feel suffocated and very claustrophobic. I also feel very hot in them. However, I will honor the social contract and wear one when out in public.

The only time I would pull it down would be if I was outside or in an area where nobody was around, but would pull it back up again as soon as I saw someone. I will not be taking public transportation for a long time, so I will take Ubers or Lyft to work a few times a week once it starts back up again and will wear a mask for the saftety of the driver.
