Cell phones have gotten pretty cheap, & small.

Yes, some are very expensive, but some are very cheap..Almost everyone can buy one. Once you get one, then you have a camera, and a telephone & some are computers too.. And you can carry it around in your pocket or purse.

Therefore, the number of photographers who can take pictures of police doing bad deeds, has gone up expeditiously. Enormously in numbers no one can imagine. And yes, the photographers are good enough to get the pictures exactly right, and get them exactly at the time of the event. We usually don't have to wait for the police department to release the cameras that police carry. (forgot their name)..

There are a whole lot of cameramen & camerawomen out there willing and able to do the job. (for free)
