Question about healthcare workers and COVID

Recently a relative of mine, who has a home based business dealing with pets has been asked by 2 separate clients that work as healthcare professionals (nurses) to come inside their homes and service their pets. Also her significant others family member who is also a nurse, working in birthing center is pressuring her to attend a family barbecue.
I'm confused, has anyone here encountered nurses that are not taking this seriously? I know of the woman in Wisconsin who seemed
to have not a care in the world. My advice was to protect herself, only she can. To me all that these "openings" mean is there's a bed
for you now. Nothing has changed, it's not safe!

I did go on a walk in a forest preserve social distancing with my mask. It wasn't crowded.

And I really want to go to protests too! I'm baffled that those that "know better" aren't serious about this. I've gone on walks also, masked of course. If there are too many people on walking path, I go home
