What is going on now is mere vandalism. It is not much more severe than if a local sports team had won a championship, at least so far, but it serves no good purpose and ought to be shut down. That the curfew was coming has been known all day. Anyone it catches out of doors downtown made a choice.

There are some knuckleheads downtown, that is all. They have gotten into some high end stores, which excites the newscasters something awful, but compared to neighborhood groceries and such, I am not too concerned over the window contents of a shuttered Nieman Marcus....

And they will likely get taxpayer $ from the grifter in chief for their troubles. Not like some small business owner who would have trouble getting a loan let alone aid.
