Some photos from last night's George Floyd demonstration in Flint Township (pic heavy)

I haven't checked the national news, yet, to see if this or any similarly conducted demonstrations have hit the national news. FaceBook is all over it.

These are the images of hope that should be shown everywhere.

“We are all in this together” should remain the narrative for this crisis also.

The looting and destruction will end hopefully soon, but the unity of all races must remain.

Great news. It’s good to see some positive pictures in the torrent of chaos we’re witnessing.

They were the blueprint where Republicans learned you can sow destruction then lie and take no responsibility. You can even lie to congress if you are the right party.

a little sobby noise. I showed him your pictures and he wiped an eye.

This is what the police response should be. Just because one of "theirs" did the horrendous deed does not mean they all need to stick up for him against the people they are supposed to protect. It seems that through everything that Flint has experienced they understand that.

Thanks for these pictures.

There IS hope for America. After all that Flint has been through, with the water situation, they need help still. Forgotten communities. The asshole in the WH thinks he is president of just rich, white people. WE ALL need a representative who knows what life is like outside of DC. The black people should organize large scale voter registrations all over the country, sign up the young people. Show the gop there is strength in numbers, and we all want change. Vote democratic representatives all down the ballot, city council, school board, police commission, EVERYTHING. It is the only way things will change. The gop had their chance, and look at the mess they created.

We are all freaking humans, this targeting of others because of their skin color or place of birth or sexual orientation is just stupid and crazy. Damn, these people above are some fine folk.
