Tough as nails and smart. Former police chief in Orlando. Doesn't take any crap.

I think she would be an excellent choice.

Her seat was red for 33 years before she took over in 2017.

So that makes me nervous.... also I don't know FL election law if she joins Biden can the Democrats still get a candidate on the ballot for this year or would a rethug be running unopposed?????

If she can help Biden win I'm all for it, we can absorb losing a House seat. Picking someone like warren with a rethug governor to fill her seat is too dangerous.

She's in a D+11 district. There's no evidence that she would be helpful in competitive battleground States.

care if it is a woman because I want him to ask Gov Cuomo because he is brilliant, think fast on his feet and knows how to run things with order. I also see quality in him that he is one of the best ones to get in Trump crap and spit in his face and bold enough to call him and any of his criminals out including Barr soap.I want him for President, but vice would work for me I hate Joe is in a box of having to choose a woman. I think that is dangerous and can cost us if we do not have someone with the strength like Andrew Cuomo. Not saying women aren't strong, but for this time, I say he is one of the best bets against Trump to pick of the slack where Joe B lack.JMHO.

Reneging on that promise would be a huge unforced error.

I happen to love Val Demings, but at this moment, Andrew Cuomo seems undeniably presidential, and suited to the VP role (IMO). I think Elizabeth Warren would also be an excellent choice - as she's more of a known quantity nationally. I wish Val Demmings could replace the evil Rick Scott as U.S. Senator - but that's 4 years off.

So, Gov. Cuomo should stay where he is most effective!

PLUS: Joe has already said he wants to choose a woman. End of this story.

It would be hard to run a law and order campaign against Biden and her.

Before this broke, I had come to the conclusion that she would be the best candidate to balance the ticket. That opinion hasn't changed.

for VP with my blessing, though I'm with those who want a president who won't be basing potentially huge choices like this on whatever directions our winds are blowing.
