The protesters are not in the area of the looting.
The looters are opportunists that are taking advantage of the situation.
They are hiding in with the crowds and that's why they are showing up wherever the protests are taking place.

We also have a massive homeless situation and not everyone is on drugs or mentally ill. I think they would be among the opportunists.

They are complying.

I'm not sure that will stop any protester but it definitely needs to be brought up to all of those who are in this for the right reasons.

The cops are focusing on the protests and the people in them and not enough on the business areas. Both need to be monitored and managed.
