Wasn't he just in DC the other day with trump? Nobody seemed to know where or who those troops belonged to, except that some of them were military police.

They are a right wing family, and he started out with a small army, and got huge contracts through Cheney and Rumsfeld during the Bush years. He made billions in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars milking the military, and hiring a bunch of ex-special forces guys and gung-ho gun happy soldiers.

Start with the heroes of the impeachment, even if they're not your own: Adam Schiff, Eric Swallwell, Ted Lieu, and many more. Address a letter to the Speaker of the House. Look up your own Congressman/woman -- that info is easy to obtain. In particular, if your elected officials are GOP, it is really important to let them know your concerns as a freedom-loving American citizen.

Last year CBP officers circulated mockup images of my violent rape ahead of my visit to their facilities. They hung framed photos of officers aiming guns at people on the walls. Later that day,they refused to protect members of Congress when armed Trump supporters were outside.

Nicholas Kristof is pointing out that during the far more severe anti Vietnam, post Kent State protests in 1970, protesters were allowed to be on the mall and actually Nixon secretly met with some at the Lincoln Memorial later that night.

Apparently Trump in year 4 is more paranoid than Nixon in year 2.
