Published 9 hours ago on June 8, 2020By Brad Reed
A new video posted by the anti-Trump organization Republican Voters Against Trump features an Arizona man named Lance who explains why he cannot support the president again in 2020.
I am ashamed as a Republican by what our president has done to our country, Lance says in the video. I voted for him in 2016 and I will not vote for him, regardless of whether theres anybody running against him."
More at link.
That's gonna leave a mark.

(24,454 posts)Yeah. Lance, there is a sane person who will be a a great President. His name is Joe Biden.

Why?, because he was FDR's general in WW2 and commanded millions of US people to win - Die or Live - in this war. He was the ultimate Antifa. For that we should build him a national monument. Also. built the best goddam transportation system after the war. Helped a lot to drive our economy, even today. Mitch - Infrastructure Bill? No? Why, you Fucking coward that takes money from Russian business interests and hurts our long-term strategic interests.
He did not forget their sacrifices - dead or alive. Check out the Republican Platform. 1952 vs. 1956 vs. 1962. It's instructional.

(14,012 posts)I was born during Eisenhower's presidency, so only have a historical appreciation for him.
His farewell address alone shows him to be made of different stuff than modern republican'ts.

(24,454 posts)So, in 1971, I finally was of age to vote in '73. Canvased for George McGovern....proudly. We lost 49-1, but we were right about character, honor, and bravery. Fuck Republicans...they have always been wrong.
Lock him up.

find some BS "real" fake news and he's gonna believe it (maybe).
No complacency. Work like our lives depend on phoning, registering, volunteering, and voting!
Then lock him up. Expose all his crimes and felonies and shenanigans and frauds for History to remember!

(57,073 posts)It has always made sense to me, personally.
Seems to be a common sense life philosophy to me, without all the hypocracy so common to other belief systems.
Were you able to attend the Maitrea Heart Shrine Relic Tour? If you have the opportunity, DO IT! 😁😁😁 I went twice & absolutely loved it.

I went to a small community church of SE Asians - no one spoke English, but we all communicated perfectly without verbal language.

(30,733 posts)They are no good if we are preaching to the choir. Republicans always seem to have their ads placed so that they reach everyone.

(22,031 posts)...provided that you do one of the following:
1. Vote for Joe Biden for President AND vote for every Democratic candidate on your ballot. That's your penance.
2. Don't vote at all.

(6,925 posts)and they believed him ("believe me"...).
We knew the damages he would do right away, but he kept telling them "I alone can fix it" and "believe me" repeatedly, so they believed him (what a surprise!).
After 3.5 years of chaos, suspicions (Russia), and stupidity "a la Steve Bannon" now they face the damages their gullible votes have caused.
In less than 6 months, the impeached con man has managed to bring back the 1918 pandemic, the 1929 Great Depression, and the 1968 rallies against racism, and all that's missing (so far) is a return of the 1939 World War II
in less than a year!
Lock him up.
