Things a moving quickly....time to start the betting Pool
Give a date that Trump will announce he is not going to run for a second term.
Bonus for his reason.. 1. He has done well, and can do more by starting a “real” news network 2. He owes it to his family to go back to his business “empire” for their legacy 3. He just bought a villa in Sochi, Russia and will work with Putin to achieve World Peace. (😊 ![]()

1. His fevered little mind has been busy
He wants OUT! But he hasn't figured out how to evade those pesky little indictments with his name on them. Barr can erase the federal stuff, but not the state crimes.
He has cancelled his trip to his NJ golf course for this weekend. What's up? |

2. Naw....he would have to admit to at least himself that he is an abysmal failure as President
And besides, Putin already gifted him the villa in Sochi.

3. 4.) PRESIDENTIAL HARRASSMENT!
...whiny little bitch.
Seriously I don't think we can get that lucky as Trump dropping out. And anyway I think he's stupid enough to believe his own bullshit that the polls are all wrong ... just look out there at the 6200 adoring fans... |

4. I still think he will chicken out and quit in October.
He will stay in for his grand coronation because he soaks up the adulation and applause.
Then he will declare he already made America great and quit unfurling a huge MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner across the White House. |

and stay there.

7. You're right in that his excuse wouldn't involve any admission that he was a failure.
He might also say the election is so rigged that he could never win, and the media and everybody's against him, etc...
America doesn't deserve a 'great' president... ![]() Still, having said that, I have a feeling he's going to keep doing exactly what he is doing: lying and failing his way into November. Unless, through some miracle, we can dislodge Bill Barr. That might change his calculus. |

9. He's never going to stop running. He's discovered politics is a better grift than real estate
Look at how much money he embezzles/self-deals from campaign contributions into his company's coffers. It's easier than the international money laundering-fueled real estate gig he was doing before.
You know how some so-called "charities" spend most of their annual revenues on administration costs specifically including fundraising? They just raise money to spend on raising money -- but in the meantime the charity executives have well-paying jobs and a respectable job title. Trump has figured out that politics is susceptible to the same grift -- and he figured out that the money spent to raise more money can be spent with companies owned and operated by oneself, one's family and one's employees. As long as there are suckers, bigots, and crooks willing to give them campaign contributions, someone from the Trump clan will always be running for office, or running a PAC, from this day forward. |

When else can you get the entire government to take your side?

12. October 15th. Reason: Health-- his family is "begging" him
to retire and spend more time with them.
He then goes to Marawhateverthehellitiscalled and plays golf for a few months over the winter-- then spends his time back and forth between there and NYC where he will be in court. |

13. Friday, August 21, 2020
This is the Friday immediately preceding the Republican National Convention. Trump’s bowing out before the convention will give them the opportunity to nominate someone else—probably VP Pence.
The reason will NOT be his health. He’s incapable of admitting weakness. It will be for the good of the American people because the Fake News Media, the deep state, and the evil Democrats never actually gave him a chance to govern. He, and the American people, were ROBBED of what could have been a golden age by bitter, petty people who couldn’t stand to see him succeed. Personally, I don’t think that he’s dropping out, but, if he does, I think it will go down as I described, above. -Laelth |

17. If he does drop out, it will be at a random time
He does ZERO planning or forethought. And he cares ZERO about optics or how it affects others.
