(9,740 posts)Would the powers that be have the agenda to marginalize Romney even more before the election? Even if Romney gets the nomination they are clearly breaking Saint Reagan's first rule of 'Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican'.

This cycle it is a circular firing squad. It comes across as the GOP powers that be want to throw this election. (to continue to have the GOP obstruct and attack Obama for 4 more years in a attempt to hurt the Democratic brand long term in the electorate). All it takes is one memo from above and nobody would attack anyone else in the primary like it was for so many years.
