Many of our speakers keep referencing a number for people to text: vote30330
But, they never superimpose that number on the screen.
Why not?
In fact, it could just stay up in the upper left hand corner.
Just the marketing guy in me that notices things like this.

(50,949 posts)I worked in direct mail many many years ago. It was surprising the things that made people act. Like for instance, when you put a call to action on the top right of a page, it worked better than a call to action on the top left.
It might be that leaving it on the screen makes the viewer immune to it. Maybe there is better response overall when you mention it so people actually act on it when it is said. Or they write it down, which is them engaging with the number which makes them more likely to use it.

(1,737 posts)and the text number is displayed throughout the presentation. MSNBC did not. I think the standard DNC feed has it but MSM has replaced it with their own chyron.
