And it's one of the things that is retarding the recovery.

It's just sophistry to make a statement like this. I don't blame Romney for saying it, but why doesn't anybody in the liberal media challenge him?

I wouldn't try touting free-trade deals in an election year with massive unemployment. If Mitt wants to claim it, it can only make him look good by comparison. Then, later, Obama can attack Mitt as wanting to outsource jobs and watch Mitt explode as he realizes the only way to disprove the claim is by contradicting himself and, thus, showing his consistent dishonesty.

The above isn't moral, but it would probably be fairly effective and would definitely be funny.
