Just like Trump choked on the Covid 19 pandemic. Got the yips. Double clutched. Pulled the string. Booted it. Clanked it off the rim. Got burned. Took his eye off the ball. Whatever other sports metaphor you might want to employ for someone who didn't deliver when it counted.

If anybody knows about choking, Donald, it's you.

to make that decision. And, unfortunately, if someone screws up big time with someone’s life — at a minimum, they’ve shown they aren’t likely cut out for the job, whether guilty or not of murder, manslaughter, etc.
