DOSE OF JOE -- Sep 1

Friends -- see below for today's Dose of Joe.

Yesterday, Vice President Biden delivered powerful remarks in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania strongly condemning violence and asked if Americans really feel safe under President Trump. Watch the full speech HERE.

Joe released a statement on President Trump’s press conference where the President declined to rebuke violence or repudiate one of his supporters who is charged with murder.

Yesterday, the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), an advocacy group with the goal of expanding economic opportunities to LGBTQ+ businesses, and the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) announced their endorsements of Joe Biden for President.

Today, Dr. Jill Biden is launching a multi-week ten-city “Back-to-School Tour” through eight battleground states. Dr. Biden will begin the tour at Evan G. Shortlidge Academy in Wilmington, Delaware’s Red Clay school district, the largest public school district in the state.

A recent Military Times poll shows more troops are choosing Biden over Trump- directly undercutting Trump’s claims that he alone can keep Americans safe, as the very people who protect our country break for Biden. The data revealed that nearly half of the respondents (all active military personnel) had an unfavorable view of the President.

JOE’S TWEETS TO AMPLIFY

@JoeBiden: Tonight, President Trump declined to rebuke violence. He wouldn’t even repudiate one of his supporters who is charged with murder. He is too weak, too scared of the hatred he has stirred to put an end to it.

@JoeBiden: Fear never builds the future — hope does.

@JoeBiden: If Donald Trump wants to ask the question: Who will keep you safer as President? Let’s answer it.
