DOSE OF JOE - Sep 2

Friends -- see below for today's Dose of Joe.

Jill and Joe Biden will receive a briefing from education leaders and experts in Wilmington, Delaware. After, Vice President Biden will deliver remarks on how Trump’s failure to address COVID-19 is impacting students, educators, and children, and his plan to safely and effectively reopen schools. You can watch HERE.

Yesterday, Joe Biden penned an op ed in the Las Vegas Spectrum calling attention to the Trump Administration’s attacks on the LGBTQ+ community.

Biden for President adapted Joe Biden’s speech yesterday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania into a new minute-long ad titled “Be Not Afraid” that will begin airing nationwide on cable channels and in key battlegrounds. The campaign will also expand its Spanish Language programming with “Decepciones” airing on radio and Spanish Language networks in Nevada, North Carolina, and Minnesota as the campaign is continuing to ramp up its general election paid media spending, investing $45 million on broadcast and digital this week alone.

In response to President Trump’s visit to Wisconsin yesterday, Deputy Campaign manager and Communications Director Kate Bedingfield released a statement. In her statement Kate underscored that once again Trump has failed to meet the moment and has neither offered a plan to control COVID-19 or condemned the violence the nation has witnessed.

JOE’S TWEETS TO AMPLIFY

@JoeBiden: For far too long, discriminatory policies like redlining have kept Black Americans from having the same opportunities as white Americans. That’s got to change: http://JoeBiden.com/Housing

@JoeBiden: Together, we’re going to build back better than before and set our nation on a new path.

@JoeBiden: We need a president who will lower the temperature and bring the country together — not one who raises it and tears us further apart.
