Listening to Biden -- my whole demeanor changed.

So nice to have a calm feeling come over me, a feeling I can trust the speaker. Reassuring to hear questions responded to on point, no slurs, no lies, a serious and calm attitude which conveys to me that he is listening and responding to the question.

What an excellent change.

OUR NATION NEEDS JOE BIDEN!!!!

I have had a couple of friends who supported other candidates say they now feel only Biden could win against Trump. I don't think anyone else could match his ability to expand his base of support and attract others to his campaign. He's so special in so many ways. He was the right man for this time.

When she dropped out, I went to Biden. My partiality to Kamala I believe comes from the fact that I am a California, a female and a lawyer. I have liked her for a long time and have supported her in the Cal AG and Sen elections. I have always liked and respected Joe Biden. He is a great person. His personal history says it all. All around great guy. So, it was easy to go from Kamala to Joe.

I am sooooooooooooo pleased beyond belief that they are running mates. IMO, we as Democrats have the very best to offer to our once great nation!

all the times Joe didn't win the nomination were because he is needed so badly NOW. Back before we knew for certain that Hillary was running in 2016 and then the tragedy of Beau, I was very much in favor of Joe to run in 2016. A number of my friends scoffed at me but they sure are all in for him now

an interview, conversation, with Colbert I think it was, he had come to believe Biden was the best choice and what the country so badly needs. The losses in Biden's life, and his ability to empathize/relate with the loss that we all have been suffering, are far more important than any policy differences.

At first it was all vote against the trumper, now I am voting FOR Joe, it is a different mindset. I am really liking the straightforward "attacks" against trump.

It's amazing when someone sane and intelligible with some moral courage and decency starts to speak as President.

How could anyone choose the other flavor?

Seriously, I want to invite them all to NYC for a friendly game of three card monte.

His message is good so far, successfully refuting Trump's bogus 'law and order/scare the suburbs' message.

But he needs to hammer more about the economy, that the stock market and the economy are not the same thing - basically hit more of a populist tone on this issue - to lower Trump's approval numbers on the economy. This is important for appealing to more working class whites and latinos as well as progressives.
